How to Act Like a Hacker

There is a culture of computer geeks... GONE BAD! These men, women , teens, and even children engage in the subtle art of hacking. I do not endorse hacking (shifty eyes) but I am fascinated by the subject. We will now delve in to how to act like a hacker.

Acting like a hacker and being a hacker are two very different things. To be a hacker you must have an intimate knowledge of computer programming and be realtively intelligent. To act like a hacker you must be over-confident, young, and hip. Obviously, these criteria are not very hard to meet. In fact, many people act like hackers without even knowing it!!!

Listed below are the basics for acting like a hacker:

1. This is essential: BE VERY CONFIDENT.
2. You must act like you know everything.
3. No ones opinion but yours matters.
4. You must believe that everyone unnderestimates you.
5. You must be awake during the night and sleep during the day.
6. Again: YOU KNOW EVERYTHING.
7. You must believe it is impossible for you to make a mistake.

Well those are just a few things that must be done to portray yuorself as a hacker. Other things such as attending DefCon and programming HTML and CSS help too. Remember: You can be a hacker too!

OPINION

Please read this article before reading to fully understand.

Unfortunately, my prestigious colleague is wrong on a few counts.

1. John Freshwater should NOT be fired for having a bible in class.
a. It is perfectly fine for a teacher to have a bible in class, according to the Constitution.

2. John Freshwater should NOT be fired for providing supplemental material opposing evolution.
a. As long as the standards are being taught there is no reason why Mr. Freshwater should be prevented from providing supplemental material as long as he is teaching it as theory. Evolution is also a theory, no matter what Dawkins says.

3. John Freshwater SHOULD be fired for burning the sign of a cross into his students.
a. This is just ridiculous and disgusting. Fire him, and fire him good.


So, as Mr. Myers said in his blog, fire Freshwater for the RIGHT reason.

OPINION

As many of you already know, the controversial movie eXpelled by Ben Stein was recently released.

I have not gone to see the movie in theaters but have had the fortunate opportunity to attend a screening.

In brief:
An excellent film.

Stein does an excellent job of revealing the oppressed people who have been shut down by the scientific community. I recommend this film and hope you will go to see it.
